GAZA (PIC)– IOF troops are taking new security measures in all military post on the border with the Gaza Strip after the success of prisoner exchange deal fearing resistance factions might try to capture IOF soldiers.
This was reported “Al-Majd for security awareness” website which also noted that the Shabak Israeli intelligence warned the Israeli occupation forces that in light of the popularity of the prisoner exchange deal amongst Palestinians there are fears that more soldiers might be captured to exchange for more of the remaining Palestinian prisoners.
Israeli intelligence also warned that some Palestinian factions might try to enhance their standing in the Palestinian street by capturing Israeli soldiers to exchange them for Palestinian captives especially after the popularity of Hamas soared as a result of the latest exchange deal.
According to Israeli media sources the Shabak has increased the warning in light of threats by the resistance to capture more soldiers and called for better surveillance and regular combing of areas close to the border with Gaza.
IOF security units started immediately installing surveillance cameras and flood lights to secure military positions to the east of the central Gaza Strip.
The IOF is preparing for lighting large areas of the border and to use remote control vehicles to patrol the borders to minimise use of soldiers for this job.
There is also information that the Israeli occupation has tried new technologies such the most extreme of which is fitting their soldiers with implants that help track them in case they get captured.
