IOF targets Hamas supporters officials in W. Bank campaign

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have carried out a widespread arrest campaign that targeted Hamas supporters and figures in the West Bank and confiscated money and a vehicle belonging to citizens during raids on homes.

According to reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) the IOF campaign took place overnight in Nablus Tulkarem and Bethlehem.

Local sources in Nablus city told a PIC reporter that four young men and a French activist were taken prisoners by Israeli soldiers.

They said that a large number of Israeli troops stormed at dawn Wednesday Nablus city and spread in different neighborhoods where they raided homes and clashed with some local young men.

During the IOF campaign in the city soldiers rounded up four young citizens identified as Izzuddin Bilal Mujahed Ashour Ahmed al-Bubali and Anas Jawdallah as well as a French activist called Dunya Shetaiwi the sources affirmed

In Tulkarem the IOF raided and searched the house of Hamas official Ra’fat Nasif and interrogated him.

The IOF also broke into and ransacked the house of activist and journalist Qutaiba Qasem from Bethlehem and seized 5000 shekels.

In Bethlehem the IOF pillaged the house of Hamas official Hasan al-Wardiyan and confiscated a sum of money and checks worth 50000 shekels. Wardiyan is a noted businessman in the city.

In Jenin the IOF stormed Burqin town and kidnapped a young man called Yazan Subh from his home.
