Several Palestinian citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday evening in Teqoa town southeast of Bethlehem.
Teqoa mayor Tayseer Abu Mifreh said the skirmishes happened at the western entrance of the town during which the IOF fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at local youths.
In a separate incident a Palestinian young man was injured on the same day by IOF gunfire during clashes with local youths in al-Khalil City.
Local sources said the clashes started in al-Khalil after the IOF intensified its presence in Bab az-Zawiya area.
