Scores of Palestinian students suffered from their exposure to tear gas fumes on Sunday morning when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked their school in Urif village south of Nablus.
Chief of the village Mazen Shahada said that Israeli troops intensively fired tear gas grenades at Urif School causing dozens of students to suffer from inhaling tear gas.
Shahada added that many students received on-site medical assistance and one of them was rushed to the medical center in the village.
Consequently the teargas attack disrupted classes at the school and forced many students to go home.
The school in Urif has been exposed to repeated attacks by Israeli soldiers and settlers which forced its administration to evacuate it 14 times.
