A number of Palestinian school students suffered from their exposure to tear gas on Sunday morning when the Israeli occupation forces attacked them in the towns of Teqoa and al-Khader in Bethlehem.
According to local sources Israeli forces encircled the school perimeter in Teqoa town as its students were taking their first semester exam and harassed them after they left the school.
Soon later the situation escalated into clashes with the soldiers who intensively fired tear gas at the students.
The IOF also closed the northern entrance to the town and obstructed the movement of citizens and vehicles.
Meanwhile the IOF stormed streets in al-Khader town in southern Bethlehem and embarked on firing tear gas grenades and rubber bullets at school students in al-Tal area.
Many students reportedly suffered from inhaling tear gas fumes during the events.
