The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) tightened military restrictions at the entrance to Fawar refugee camp south of al-Khalil following a Molotov cocktail attack at a military jeep.
Israeli media sources claimed that a group of Palestinian youths threw stones and Molotov cocktails at a passing Israeli jeep near al-Khalil.
No injuries were reported during the incident according to the sources.
Following the attack large military reinforcements came to the area.
Tension has been notably high across the occupied Palestinian territories after US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel. Hundreds of Palestinians were either injured or arrested since then.
