The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night threatened to remove trees in the tourist area of al-Mas’udiyya in the north of Nablus city.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that the IOF notified Palestinian officials of its intent to remove trees planted in recent months in al-Mas’udiyya area which is part of Burqa town in northern Nablus.
Daghlas warned of an Israeli plan to take over this historic site and give it to Jewish settlers.
