Palestinian resistance fighters at dawn Tuesday engaged in armed clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) as they were raiding homes and making arrests in Jenin city and its refugee camp.
Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that sounds of gunfire exchange and explosions were heard during the IOF campaign in Jenin city and its refugee camp.
The sources added that armed men clashed with Israeli soldiers in different streets of the city.
During its campaign the IOF ransacked the house of a wanted young man called Nidhal Hazem from Jenin refugee camp made threats against his family and kidnaped his father his brother and one of his friends to pressure him to turn himself in.
Three other citizens were also taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in Jenin city and its refugee camp. They were identified as Bader al-Mallah Mohamed Ja’far and Haitham al-Kafreen.
