IOF troops arrest 24 Palestinian Jerusalemites deny them entry to Aqsa Mosque

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Large numbers of IOF troops army special units and intelligence elements have launched Sunday a wide-scale arrest campaign in lines of the Palestinian citizens in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

According to local sources around 24 Palestinian Jerusalemites under 20 years of age were rounded up at the hands of those troops before being led hand cuffed to the Maskobeh detention center in the city.

One of the detainees revealed that the IOA accused them of planning to enter the Aqsa Mosque this coming Friday in a bid to instigate the Palestinian people against the ongoing IOA destruction works at the Mosque’s western wall.

“We were savagely beaten and insulted at the hands of our Israeli interrogators as they threatened us with severe punishment if clashes with the IOF troops in the city erupt” he added.

He also unveiled that the interrogators have deliberately bad mouthed Sheikh Raed Salah the head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands before the detainees and ordered them not to enter the Aqsa Mosque for at least one month as a condition for their release.

Around 246 Palestinian citizens including Sheikh Salah among other Palestinian citizens were banned by the IOA from entering and praying at the Mosque.
