JENIN (PIC)– IOF undercover soldiers assassinated one of the AMB commanders in the Jenin city at dawn Thursday while three Islamic Jihad activists survived a similar assassination attempt in Gaza.
Eyewitnesses said that a number of soldiers in plain clothes got out of a white car and sprayed Mohammed Abu Surour with bullets killing him instantly and arrested Hilal Al-Saadi who was in the company of Surour.
IOF troops immediately after the crime stormed the scene to cover the withdrawal of the special unit.
In another assassination attempt this time in Gaza three fighters affiliated with the Quds Brigades the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement were wounded at dawn Thursday when an IOF Apache copter fired three missiles and opened heavy machineguns at them near Beit Hanun town in northern Gaza witnesses reported.
They said that the three miraculously escaped the shelling after leaving the targeted area only moments before the missiles slammed into it.
Medical sources said that the three were lightly to moderately wounded in the blast of those missiles.
On Wednesday fighters of the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement confronted an IOF incursion into Beit Hanun.
A Qassam communiqué said that four mortar shells and an anti-armored Yassin projectile and an RPG were fired at the advancing IOF armored vehicles while a Qassam sniper hit an IOF serviceman.
The Qassam fighters also fired ten mortar shells at the IOF advancing forces in Fakhari village in Khan Younis district to the south of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
The Nasser Salahuddin Brigades the armed wing of the popular resistance committees also engaged an IOF foot patrol east of Khan Younis.
IOF troops kidnap five citizens including teenage girl:
IOF soldiers kidnapped five Palestinian citizens at dawn Thursday during an incursion into Nablus city and Surra village southwest of the city including a teenage girl.
Local sources said that the soldiers kidnapped Aya Al-Salti from her family home in Nablus city after thoroughly searching it. They pointed out that the soldiers severely beat up the girl before taking her away handcuffed.
A 15-year-old boy was also kidnapped in the city along with two other young men while other units kidnapped a youth in the Surra village.
