RAMALLAH (PIC)– A special unit of the Israeli occupation army disguised in plain clothes has assassinated a security officer from the PA presidential guards (PG) and wounded four other Palestinian citizens in a raid on Ramallah city Tuesday.
According to local sources the IOF unit encircled a building where PG officer Omar Abdul Haleem 22 was staying and directly peppered him with bullets killing him instantly.
A number of IOF vehicles and trucks rushed to the scene in order to secure the withdrawal of the assassinating force prompting clashes between the invading forces on the one hand and Palestinian youths hurling stones and empty bottles on the other hand the sources added.
The clashes however left four Palestinian youths wounded as the fully geared IOF troops confronted them with live bullets and teargas canisters. Abdul Haleem was also one of the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades’ cadres and his name was placed on Israel’s list of wanted activists.
In another assassination incident the IOF troops killed Mohammed Marei 22 of the newly formed Abu Ammar Brigades an offshoot of the AMB in Jenin city Tuesday night.
The victim was in his car when an IOF special unit disguised in civilian clothing approached and shot him from a close range with six bullets in the neck that instantly killed him.

In Gaza Strip Israeli warplanes unleashed four air strikes at a training camp of the Qassam Brigades (QB) in Rafah city killing and wounding no one; but the raid completely destroyed the camp eyewitnesses affirmed.
Earlier Israeli war generals warned that Hamas had succeeded in hiding and securing its political leaders and its military capabilities thus leaving the Israeli warplanes with no targets to hit.
More than 18 Palestinian citizens were killed and 80 others were seriously wounded within last week only according to a report issued by the Palestinian national information center.
