IOF troops assassinate Qassam member few hours before ceasefire

Gaza– IOF troops Saturday night assassinated a member of the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement and wounded four others in Gaza city only few hours after a ceasefire between the Palestinians and Israel went into effect.

Eyewitnesses said that an IOF drone fired at least one missile at the minibus that grouped the Qassam fighters killing Khaled Abdullah on the spot.

Medical sources said that the body of Abdullah working with the Qassam manufacturing unit arrived in the form of dismembered remains.

In a similar assassination bid another group of Qassam members survived the attempt when the missile that slammed into their jeep did not explode.

Locals west of Gaza city said that the missile hit the jeep soon after the Qassam fighters left it but did not explode and inflicted minor damage to the vehicle.

In a third attempt a group of Palestinian fighters escaped unharmed after an IOF tank shell blasted their car only seconds after they got out of it witnesses reported.

They said that two pedestrians were wounded from the shrapnel in the Sha’sha’a area north of Gaza while the car was completely destroyed.

In other atrocities the IOF troops on Saturday morning fired at the Palestinian Red Crescent’s ambulance cars putting a number of them out of work.

In the West Bank IOF soldiers fired machineguns at a power transformer station in Kufr Dan village west of Jenin inflicting severe damage to the station.

The IOF soldiers also kidnapped chairman of the Islamic Furkan charitable society in Ramallah city.

Meanwhile Palestinian resistance fighters took their share before start of the ceasefire firing volleys of locally made missiles at the Sderot settlement to the north of the Strip including one that fell near the house of the settlement’s mayor.
