NAZARETH (PIC)– IOF troops escorted huge bulldozers on Wednesday to protect their demolition mission of four Palestinian homes in the Negev desert village of Khasham occupied since 1948.
Local sources said that the IOF unit escorted two tractors that bulldozed the four homes with an average area of 100 to 150 square meters each.
They said that the houses provided shelter for more than 30 citizens who were rendered homeless in the blazing desert heat after the flattening.
The regional council of the unrecognized Negev villages appealed to all international concerned institutions to adopt serious steps to save thousands of Arab homes threatened with destruction.
Israel has threatened to knock down thousands of Arab homes in the Negev desert at the pretext they were built in villages not recognized by it.
