The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) were deployed Monday in large numbers across Qalqilia city to the north of West Bank.
Local sources told PIC reporter that Israeli forces erected a military checkpoint at the entrance to Nabi Ilyas town while a second checkpoint was placed at Ezbet Tabib road.
A third barrier was also erected at the eastern entrance to Qalqilia city.
Palestinian vehicles were stopped and searched at the checkpoints whereas a large number of Israeli forces stormed the city center in provocation to local residents who stoned the Israeli troops.
