NABLUS (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up three Palestinian West Bankers on Wednesday night and launched a large-scale combing operation in Madma village Nablus district.
Hebrew daily Yediot Ahronot reported on its website on Thursday that the detainees were taken in for interrogation.
Meanwhile local sources in Madma said that the IOF soldiers in seven jeeps broke into the village at a late hour and searched houses while looking for the attackers on one of their vehicles in the vicinity of the village.
Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers fired flare bombs in and around the village during the combing operation which also included nearby groves.
Israeli sources said that unknown attackers threw a firebomb at one of the IOF vehicles near the village last night which caught fire as a result.
