GAZA (PIC)– IOF troops on Tuesday fired at Palestinian farmers attending to their lands in Rafah east of the Gaza airport as the PLC denounced in a statement the world silence vis-à-vis the unending IOF attacks on the Palestinian people.
PA security sources said that no casualties were reported in the firing and added that an IOF gunboat also Tuesday morning fired at a Palestinian fishing boat west of Rafah district off Tal Al-Sultan area but the fishermen managed to return safely to shore.
In the West Bank an IOF unit burst into the village of Jayos Qalqilia district and stormed a number of homes before kidnapping two young men.
A similar incursion was reported in Qalqilia city amidst indiscriminate firing but no arrests were reported.
The PLC issued a statement denouncing Arab Islamic and world silence towards the repeated IOF incursions on the Nablus city and the Aqsa Mosque and attacks on Palestinians in general.
It charged that Israel was encouraged with such world silence and escalated in aggressions in a flagrant disregard of all human values and international norms and doctrines that incriminate targeting unarmed civilians.
The Islamic Jihad in Gaza on Tuesday fired two locally made Quds missiles at the city of Ashkelon occupied since 1948 in retaliation to the Israeli ceaseless aggressions.
