IOF troops flatten Palestinian society for disabled children

Tuesday 8-May-2007

OCCUPIED JERUSSALEM (PIC)– IOF troops on Tuesday flattened the Palestinian society for disabled children in Wadi Al-Joz in occupied Jerusalem at the pretext it was built without permit.

Society sources said that the soldiers forced the children out of the premises and knocked it down before the little ones’ very eyes.

The 70-square-meter building provides shelter for 20 disabled children.

The demolition brought to 48 the number of buildings knocked down by the Israeli occupation authority since start of this year at the usual pretext of lack of permit.

Palestinians the indigenous inhabitants of the holy city are denied permission to build new homes or even to expand existing ones while Jewish settlers are allowed to build without any restrictions.
