GAZA (PIC)– The ministry of prisoners and ex-prisoners in the PA caretaker government revealed in a recent report that the IOF troops kidnapped last October 380 Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank and Gaza Strip including three women.
The report stated that the IOF troops stormed and ransacked homes universities schools and service institutions in Palestinian villages refugee camps and towns 695 times. They also kidnapped hundreds of Palestinians from their homes or at military checkpoints.
According to the report the last month saw an Israeli escalation against Palestinian prisoners where Israeli special units stormed the Negev prison using poison gases and forbidden weapons resulting in the injury of 300 detainees one of them died after an Israeli bullet penetrated his head.
The report also revealed that the Israeli administration of Ayalon prison took more extreme measures against 14 Palestinian prisoners for instance it transferred female prisoner called Amna Mona to another isolation cell. Mona has gone on hunger strike for a week demanding her release from solitary confinement the report said.
The report in another context pointed out that Israeli courts extended the detention term of more than 200 Palestinian prisoners at the pretext that the investigations were not complete and extended the administrative detention of 30 other prisoners mostly in the Negev desert prison.
The Israeli Ofer court also postponed the trials of Dr. Mahmoud Alramahi the secretary-general of the PLC Naif Rajoub the former minister of endowments and two other MPs to December 18.
The report also touched on the deteriorating state of health of many Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli jails as a result of lack of medical care including the health status of Hamed Al-Beitawi who suffers from diabetes.
