IOF troops kidnap MP Mubarak again storm Nablus city

RAMALLAH (PIC)– Less than one month after releasing him for Israeli jails the IOF troops arrested Palestinian lawmaker Ahmed Mubarak of Hamas at his home in Al-Bireh city at dawn Monday according to his wife.

Large numbers of masked IOF troops stormed the building where the flat of the lawmaker is located searched the building and ransacked the MP’s flat before kidnapping him.

Mubarak43 was arrested in March of last year after being elected to the PLC on Hamas’ election list. He was released him one month later only to be arrested again in July of last year along with tens of Hamas’ deputies and ministers at the backdrop of the capture of IOF serviceman Gilad Shalit last June.

He was placed under administrative detention for six months after Israeli prosecution failed to charge him prompting the court to order his release a month ago for lack of evidence.

Mubarak is the secretary of the PLC’s committee on refugees’ affairs and father of seven children.

Also at dawn Monday more than 16 Palestinian citizens were apprehended at the hands of the IOF troops in Jenin city eyewitnesses affirmed.

In Nablus city large numbers of IOF troops pushed through the city’s Balata refugee camp and exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters; but no casualties were reported. The IOF troops retreated after the encounter.
