NAZARETH (PIC)– IOF troops at an early hour Monday kidnapped six Palestinian citizens in Ramallah and Bethlehem cities at the pretext of being members of resistance factions or extending assistance to them.
The Hebrew radio quoted an IOF spokesman as saying that five were rounded up in Ramallah city three on suspicion of being AMB members and the other two suspected members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad respectively.
The spokesman said that the sixth was captured in Bethlehem on charges of affiliation with Islamic Jihad.
The Hebrew media also reported that a Palestinian locally made missile was fired from the Gaza Strip at the settlement of Sderot on Monday morning directly hitting a building.
A number of settlers were treated for shock the media report said adding that damage to property was recorded.
The Quds Brigades the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad declared responsibility for firing a “medium-range” Quds missile at Sderot and two mortar shells at the IOF military base in Kissufim on Monday.
It said that the attack was in retaliation to the continued IOF attacks against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
An Israeli settler was “seriously” wounded in a similar missile attack last night on Shaar Hanegev settlement adjacent to the Strip while four others were lightly injured.
In Ramallah district a number of Palestinian youths stoned army vehicles west of the city inflicting damage on four of them.
The IOF troops last night obstructed Palestinian traffic west of Deir Estiya village in Salfit district after a settlers’ bus was stoned in the same area.
