NABLUS (PIC)– IOF troops kidnapped one of the armed wing of Hamas Movement the Qassam Brigades’ commanders in Nablus city during an incursion at dawn Thursday after two weeks of being declared wanted by the PA security apparatuses in the West Bank.

Witnesses said the troops blasted their way into one of the buildings west of Nablus and forced all inhabitants out including university students living there and ordered them to strip.

The witnesses said that the soldiers mounting more than 40 armored vehicles kidnapped Omar Attalla 40 from that building after claiming that he had a weapon and ammunition in his possession.

Attalla escaped an attempt by the PA security apparatuses loyal to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas to kidnap him two weeks go.

Omar is the brother of one of the Qassam commanders who is serving two life sentences and 50 years in occupation jails over his responsibility for masterminding a number of human bombing operations.

The IOF troops flattened their family house twice before during the first intifada that broke out in late 1987.

Earlier reports said that large numbers of IOF soldiers stormed the city and its nearby refugee camps and rounded up a teenager in Balata and another young man after blasting entrance to his family home following large search campaigns.
