IOF troops kidnap four Palestinians of one family continue atrocities in WB

Saturday 2-June-2007

GAZA (PIC)– IOF troops succeeded in sneaking into the Palestinian refugee camp of Al-Maghazi east of Gaza Strip and kidnapped four Palestinian citizens of one family at least two of them were PA security elements in the first hours of Saturday morning Palestinian security sources affirmed.

According to the sources the IOF troops stormed home of the four kidnapped Palestinians and wreaked havoc on it before arresting and leading them to an unidentified location.

Meanwhile IOF troops’ persistent hostilities in the West Bank didn’t come to a halt as Israeli occupation soldiers bombed dozens of Palestinian commercial shops in Nablus city leaving behind huge destruction in the city’s economic infrastructure.

Tens of nearby Palestinian homes were also partially destroyed as a result of the bombing prompting concerned agencies and crews of the city’s municipal council to rush to the destruction site in a bid to help the affected citizens.

Also in Nablus two Palestinian youths were rounded up by the IOF troops in Beit Eba town west of the city after a large number of IOF troops backed by a number of military vehicles broke into the village and stormed homes of the two kidnapped Palestinians.

Two other Palestinian citizens including an Imam (preacher) of a local mosque were arrested by the IOF troops in Silwad village east of Ramallah city which is considered a stronghold of Hamas.

But Israeli atrocities weren’t limited to the IOF troops as armed Israeli settlers joined the game and assaulted a number of Palestinian farmers cultivating their farms in Deir Nezam village west of Ramallah city.

According to Palestinian local sources the settlers forced the farmers out of their lands at gunpoint and started swimming in a water pool built by the farmers to irrigate their plantations.

On the military level the Islamic Jihad announced its fighters had succeeded in unleashing a locally-made rocket at the Israeli settlement of Sderot Saturday morning affirming that the attack was in retaliation to the IOF atrocities in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Israel acknowledged the attack and confirmed it had only caused material damage to one of the settlement’s buildings; but the Islamic Jihad affirmed that the attack inflicted casualties among the settlers.
