BETHLEHEM (PIC)– IOF troops killed on Thursday afternoon a Palestinian taxi driver from the district of al-Khalil on the road between Bethlehem and Jericho.
An IOF military spokesman said claimed that the driver refused to stop at a roadblock to the south of Jericho and the IOF troops manning the roadblock opened fire killing him. They also arrested two Palestinians traveling with him.
The driver was later identified to be Aziz Hamed Mattour 30 from the village of Sair to the north of al-Khalil.
Meanwhile two Palestinians were wounded on Thursday in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip when Israeli occupation gunboats off the shores of Rafah fired at fisherman’s boats and homes on the sea-shore of the city.
Dr. Muaweyah Hasaneen Director-general of the emergency services of the PA ministry of health confirmed that two Palestinians wounded in the attack were admitted to the Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah.
