GAZA (PIC)– Three Palestinian fighters from the Qassam Brigades (QB) the armed wing of Hamas Movement were killed with IOF troops’ bullets and tank shells east of Gaza city in the first hours of Saturday morning.
According to a statement issued by the QB and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC the three fighters were in a “Jihad” mission identifying two of the martyred cadres as Saed Bassam Hillis 21 and Abdul Haleem Sakr Al-Fayyomi 27.
Palestinian medical teams that rushed to evacuate the casualties affirmed they found bodies of three martyrs and a fourth one seriously wounded. The four were rushed to the Shifa hospital in Gaza city.
However eyewitnesses and Palestinian security sources affirmed that the four Palestinian fighters were encircled by large numbers of IOF troops near Juhr Al-Deik area southeast of the city and that they were killed in cold blood.
Hebrew media sources quoted an IOF spokesman as saying that the three fighters attempted to plant a roadside bomb north of the Kissufim crossing point.
The IOF troops had recently escalated military aggressions on the Palestinian people especially in the West Bank where it killed and wounded dozens of Palestinian civilians in addition to arresting hundreds others.
Ten months ago Palestinian resistance factions heeded a request from PA chief Mahmoud Abbas to calm down in order to give peace a chance; yet the IOF troops didn’t stop their atrocities against the Palestinian people in a clear violation of the truce.
