RAMALLAH (PIC)– IOF troops have launched 34 raids into West Bank cities villages and refugee camps over one week during which 54 Palestinians were rounded up including five children and a young woman.
A report by the Palestinian center for human rights on Friday said that during the week 11-17 October the IOF soldiers used brutal force in storming civilian homes indiscriminately firing at houses and terrorizing civilians especially when almost all raids were launched at late night hours.
The PCHR noted that the IOF troops have thus kidnapped 2146 Palestinians since the start of 2007 and added that many of the detained Palestinians were kidnapped at military road barriers and border crossings and during peaceful protest rallies against the continued construction of the separation wall in the West Bank and against the IOF policy of mass punishment.
