IOF troops leave wounded Palestinian bleed to death

Saturday 16-December-2006

Nablus (PIC)- IOF troops at dawn Saturday shot and seriously wounded the 19-year-old Palestinian Amin Hussein Makhlof in the Old City in Nablus then left him bleed to death eyewitnesses reported.

They said that the IOF units burst into the Old City of Nablus escorting a huge bulldozer in a fresh breach of the three-week old ceasefire between the Palestinian factions and the Hebrew state.

The witnesses pointed out that IOF soldiers were engaged in fierce clashes with Palestinian fighters trying to block their advance further into the Old City. The clashes seriously wounded Makhlof who was left by the soldiers on the ground until he died.

They said that soldiers prevented ambulance cars from reaching the wounded youth and when they were sure he was dead they allowed the ambulance vehicle to evacuate his body. However soldiers detained the vehicle at another alley to make sure that the young man was dead.

IOF troops had stormed the village of Beita southeast of Nablus city last night where young men battled the invaders with stones and whatever they could throw at them.

In the Gaza Strip the Quds Brigades the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement announced the firing of three homemade missiles at the Israeli settlement of Sderot to the north of the Strip in retaliation to the IOF troops’ continued breach of the ceasefire.

The armed wing earlier took the credit for firing a salvo of similar missiles at Israeli settlements east of Soufa crossing in a similar retaliatory strike.
