RAMALLAH (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up 15 Palestinians in the West Bank districts of Jenin Bethlehem and Qalqilia at dawn Tuesday radio Israel announced.
Local sources in Jayus village Qalqilia district said that the IOF soldiers stormed their village at a late hour on Monday and arrested nine young men.
The IOF had detained 21 Palestinian at dawn Monday in various West Bank areas.
The IOF troops arrested 13 youths south and east of occupied Jerusalem on Monday at the pretext of inciting riots and sabotage.
Locals in Beit Safafa south of the holy city said that the soldiers rounded up seven citizens after violent confrontations with those soldiers for closing down a shop for a Jerusalemite in the suburb while six others were arrested east of Jerusalem charged with acts of sabotage against Jewish settlements the Hebrew radio said.
Two Israeli occupation policemen have also beaten up one of the guards of the Aqsa Mosque after he told them they should take off their shoes inside the Mosque.
The policemen insulted the guard then severely beat him up with batons and fists. The man was hospitalized.
