IOF troops round up 16 Palestinians resistance retaliates to aggressions

Tuesday 14-November-2006

Al-Khalil – IOF troops on Tuesday rounded up 16 Palestinian citizens in south of the West Bank in line with their daily arrest campaigns of Palestinians alleging that most of those arrested today were affiliated with Hamas Movement.

An IOF spokesman said that the arrests were made in Bethlehem and Al-Khalil after storming a number of homes.

Another Israeli military source said that at least one Palestinian home made missile slammed south of the coastal city of Ashkelon occupied since 1948 but no casualties were reported.

Israeli police sources earlier said that a number of Qassam rockets made by the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement fell into the Sderot settlement and caused heavy material damage.

Meanwhile the DFLP’s armed wing and the AMB the armed wing of the Fatah faction declared joint responsibility for firing three “upgraded” rockets at the Israeli Soufa crossing east of Gaza.

For its part the armed wing of the PFLP claimed responsibility for hitting an IOF soldier east of Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

The three armed wings said that their attacks were in reprisal to the IOF massacres in lines of the Palestinian people.

In another development Israeli intelligence reported Tuesday that a Palestinian human bombing attack was expected in the “Israeli depth” within the few coming hours.

It earlier said that over 100 warnings were received on Palestinian resistance’s intention to launch such raids in the wake of the IOF troops’ massacre in Beit Hanun north of the Gaza Strip last week which claimed the lives of 20 Palestinian civilians and wounded some 40 others.
