Al-Khalil – IOF troops at dawn Thursday rounded up ten Palestinians in Al-Khalil district and in Qabatia town Jenin district while 19 others were arrested in other West Bank areas in line with the IOF daily arrests of Palestinian West Bankers.
An Israeli army spokesman said that his forces last night captured the 19 other Palestinians in the districts of Nablus Jenin Ramallah Bethlehem and Al-Khalil claiming that they were affiliated with the Hamas and Islamic Jihad Movements along with the AMB the armed wing of Fatah faction.
Meanwhile the Israeli extremist minister of “strategic affairs” Avigdor Lieberman urged his government to assassinate Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders whether military or political and to destroy any building or position that are close to either Movement.
Rightist members in the Israeli parliament also lashed out at the government for not providing enough protection for Sderot in face of the Palestinian missiles fired from the Gaza Strip.
In an unrelated development the Ofer military court on Wednesday decided to renew the detention of Sheikh Hassan Yousef the well-known Hamas political leader for an unspecified period.
The Sheikh was arrested along with his son Uwais 14 months ago and was since then held without charge or trial.
