NABLUS (PIC)– Israeli occupation soldiers have riddled car of PA information minister Dr. Mustafa Al-Barghouthi with bullets while parked in one of Ramallah city streets inflicting heavy damage on it.
Barghouthi was in the area which was stormed by large numbers of IOF troops in the city center where the IOF killed one Palestinian and wounded four others at the time of the incident.
He however described the assault on his car as “self-evident prove that Israel doesn’t distinguish between Palestinians and that all Palestinian people are targets for the IOF troops’ aggressions”.
The PA minister had condemned the killing of Palestinian citizen Omar Abu Thafer and wounding seven others in the city Tuesday deprecating Israel’s incessant aggressions on the Palestinian people on daily basis.
“The IOF troops had executed Abu Thafer in cold blood after they arrested and shot him in the head in a very ugly manner” Barghouthi affirmed.
Hence he charged that the killing of Abu Thafer was clear Israeli military intensification and incontrovertible Israeli undermining of the Palestinian efforts to reach a reciprocal truce.
In this regard Barghouthi held Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert fully responsible for the ongoing military escalation and the bloodshed in Gaza Strip due to his (Olmert) uncalculated rejection to achieve comprehensive reciprocal and simultaneous calm as suggested by the Palestinians.
