JENIN (PIC)– IOF troops stormed the West Bank city of Jenin at dawn Saturday and arrested 6 Palestinian citizens including four teenagers at a roadblock east of the city locals reported.
The sources said that the IOF unit advanced into the city and its refugee camp shortly after midnight Friday and fired bullets and sonic bombs on Palestinian homes before retreating in the morning hours without arrests.
However the soldiers returned later in the morning backed by armored vehicles and stormed a number of Jenin villages and arrested two youths in Seelat Al-Harthiya.
Witnesses reported that four teenagers including twins were arrested at a roadblock east of Jenin city.
In Nablus large numbers of IOF soldiers broke into the city shortly after midnight Friday and roamed the streets of western suburbs and downtown.
Locals reported that the IOF troops did not make any arrests but broke into a local TV station called “Afak” (Horizon) and detained its employees for two hours then released them after forcing them to strip. The troops left the city at 0530 local time.
