NABLUS (PIC)– Large numbers of IOF troops backed by tens of military vehicles have unleashed a pre-dawn incursion into the West Bank city of Nablus Tuesday amidst intensive machinegun shooting and firing of sound bombs and arrested at least ten Palestinian citizens local sources revealed.
The sources also explained that a number of Palestinian homes in the city center and in the nearby Balata refugee camp were raided and ransacked by those troops.
However the incursion didn’t go without resistance as Palestinian resistance fighters defending the city traded fire with the invaders and engaged them in fierce armed clashes but no casualties were reported on either side.
The Hebrew radio acknowledged that IOF troops intruding into Nablus and Ramallah cities came under intensive Palestinian fire but reported no casualties in the Ramallah attack.
Around 25 Palestinian citizens were also rounded up at the hands of the IOF troops in different parts of the West Bank alleging they were resistance activists.
According to authenticated reports issued by local legal institutions more than 12400 Palestinian citizens including women children and sick people among other captives are currently detained in more than 25 Israeli prisons throughout occupied Palestine.
In another Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people an armed Israeli settler had deliberately hit Palestinian citizen Hisham Salem 54 few meters away from the IOF Hawwara roadblock south of Nablus city.
According to eyewitnesses the Israeli settler was driving at a very high speed when he hit Salem who was immediately rushed to the city’s Rafiedia hospital for treatment. Medical sources in the hospital described his injuries as “moderate”.
