NABLUS (PIC)– IOF soldiers stormed the Asker and Balata refugee camp in Nablus city at dawn Saturday and arrested three brothers in Asker after wreaking havoc in both camps.
Local sources said that the soldiers broke into and ransacked many homes in the Balata refugee camp.
Palestinian resistance factions said that they detonated an explosive device in an IOF army jeep noting that Israeli ambulance vehicles were rushed to the camp to evacuate the casualties.
They added that violent clashes erupted between resistance fighters defending their camp and the invasion troops after that incident.
The soldiers also arrested three brothers in the Asker refugee camp after storming their family home.
Two Palestinians in Salfit district were wounded Friday evening when IOF soldiers fired at them near a military roadblock with no apparent reason witnesses reported.
They said that the soldiers fired at a car carrying a number of workers at the barrier injuring the driver despite abiding by the soldiers’ order to stop. A worker in the car was wounded in his hand and feet and was carried to Jenin government hospital where his condition was described as moderate.
In the Gaza Strip medical sources said that a young man who was killed at the hands of the IOF soldiers east of Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza on Friday was identified.
They said that Tarek Abu Jari 21 was hit with several bullets near the separation fence separating the Strip from the 1948 occupied lands east of Deir Al-Balah.
