NABLUS (PIC)– IOF troops on Wednesday used two Palestinian boys to protect their army vehicle from being stoned by Palestinian angry youth in the northern West Bank city of Nablus according to human rights activists.
The story was revealed by members of International Solidarity Movement (ISM) who took photos of the incident which took place when IOF troops besieged the house of Aqsa Martyrs activist Abdel-Qader Zaqout and demolished the house. It transpired later that the wanted activist was not inside his house.
Angry Palestinian youth hurled stones at the vehicles of the IOF troops at which point IOF soldiers forced two Palestinian boys to stand in front of their jeep.
The IOF soldiers ordered a Palestinian boy to approach them when he did another boy intervened thinking the soldiers were going to arrest the first boy but the soldiers forced both of them to stand in front of their vehicle and not move.
An ISM activist who filmed the incident but stopped filming before approaching the occupation soldiers and telling them that what they were doing was illegal said that the soldier kept the boys in front of the vehicle for some minutes after he stopped the filming.
He also said that he had witnessed the use of Palestinians as human shields by IOF troops several times before especially in the old quarters of Nablus.
