Ramallah– IOF troops Friday night shot at and wounded an AMB operative before arresting him in the West Bank district of Ramallah local sources reported.
They added that the IOF soldiers captured Khaled Al-Jayiossi 28 after encircling a house where he was entrenched in Kalandia south of Ramallah. They said that the soldiers broke into the house and fired at Jayiossi wounding him in his shoulder before arresting him.
Jayiossi originally from Jayios town in Tulkarm district was wanted for the IOF for many years.
Meanwhile Palestinian medical sources in Gaza last night reported that Alaa Al-Omari had succumbed to serious wounds suffered two weeks ago at the outset of the IOF large-scale aggression on northern Gaza.
They said that Omari was seriously wounded with shrapnel in his head and neck when IOF soldiers fired artillery shells at residential areas in Beit Hanun city. He was moved to an Israeli hospital in the 1948 occupied lands for treatment but was declared dead earlier Friday.
