Israeli occupation forces (IOF) uprooted hundreds of forest trees in the Ainoun area east of Tubas on Wednesday.
Moataz Bisharat the official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in Tubas said that IOF soldiers used bulldozers to uproot hundreds of forest trees since the early morning hours.
These trees were 8 to 10 years old and were uprooted under the pretext that they are located in military training areas he added.
The IOF soldiers had closed all roads leading to the area and prevented Palestinian citizens from reaching it.
