Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday attacked a Palestinian demonstration against the settlement in Shoufa village in the West Bank district of Tulkarem.
Local sources said that the IOF violently dispersed the demonstration which was organized in protest at Israel’s razing of privately-owned land in the village in preparation for the construction of a new settler outpost.
The IOF heavily fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades at the peaceful demonstrators.
A number of them suffered breathing difficulties and were treated in the field. No serious injuries were reported.
