The Israeli prison service (IPS) has informed Palestinian prisoners from the Islamic Jihad Movement that prisoner Nouruddin Jarbou could possibly die as a result of a serious injury he sustained during armed clashes with Israeli soldiers in Jenin on April 9 2022.
According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs on Tuesday Jarbou was transferred again from Ramla prison to a civilian hospital to save his life following a serious decline in his health condition.
The prisoner was transferred to the intensive care unit of the hospital after he suffered from a sudden rise in body temperature and intestinal problems.
The Commission accused the IPS of medically neglecting Jarbou and endangering his life after it recently ordered his transfer from a hospital to the Ramla prison infirmary despite the seriousness of his health condition.
Nouruddin Jarbou a 27-year-old from Jenin refugee camp is married with one girl child and he is a member of the Islamic Jihad Movement.
