Asra Media Office said on Sunday that the Israeli prison service (IPS) decided to provide a public phone for the Palestinian women detained in Damon jail.
In early April the IPS also agreed to let the Palestinian prisoners in the Ramla prison infirmary to use a public phone to contact their families.
At the time the Palestinian Prisoner Society said that the Israeli decision to activate the public phone at the Ramla infirmary came after the prisoners fought a months-long battle with the prison administration.
