The International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) called in a statement issued Thursday for a day of rage on Friday in protest against Israeli tightened restrictions at al-Aqsa Mosque.
The IUMS called on the Islamic nation to take effective measures against the Israeli occupation under the slogan “Save al-Aqsa.”
The Islamic body also called on preachers to support al-Aqsa during Friday sermon and on Muslims all over the world to pour into streets in defense of the holy site.
Commenting on the Israeli measures the statement considered the closure of al-Aqsa Mosque as a crime strongly condemning the passive position of the Islamic nation towards the serious events.
