The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed on Sunday various areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem including the homes of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons and arrested two Palestinians from Ramallah.
In Ramallah IOF raided Kober town in Ramallah district tampering with the contents of several houses. Three Palestinian young men were arrested during their storming of the town at dawn Sunday.
The Prisoners Information Office stated that the IOF soldiers arrested three Palestinian young men after raiding their homes in Kober.
In Nablus IOF broke into the house of prisoner Amjad Aliwi on Al-Najjarah Street in Khallet Al-Iman in Nablus.
Local sources clarified that IOF had previously stormed the prisoner’s home several times the last of which was three weeks ago.
In Jenin IOF stormed the house of prisoner Nazmi Abu Bakr in Al-Salamah neighborhood in Ya’bad town southwest of Jenin. He was accused of throwing a stone on the head of an Israeli soldier that led to his death.
Local sources reported that for the second day in a row the IOF soldiers raided the house of the prisoner Abu Bakr less than two weeks after closing a room of 40 meters out of the total area of the house which amounted to 70 meters and pouring polyethylene in it and closing it with red wax.
In al-Khalil the IOF soldiers stormed Al-Aroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil after Palestinian youths threw a firebomb at an Israeli military post.
They also closed the iron gate at the entrance to Al-Aroub camp and searched citizens’ vehicles and checked their ID cards.
Local sources reported that IOF soldiers raided the southern area of al-Khalil and searched several houses. Those forces also set up several military checkpoints at the entrance to the towns of Samu and Yatta in the south and at the northern entrance to al-Khalil.
In Salfit IOF soldiers stormed Kafr al-Dik town and were deployed in more than one area of the town for several hours before their withdrawal.
In Jerusalem several army patrols raided Al-Zaeem town east of Jerusalem.
