Injuries arrests reported in West Bank and J’lem

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Friday evening shot and injured three Palestinians during confrontations in the villages of Hazma and Mughir near Ramallah city in the West Bank.

Palestinian Health Ministry said that two youths were reportedly injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire in the village of Hazma while a third was injured in Mughir.

The three injured youths are in stable condition in the Palestinian Medical Complex in Ramallah the ministry added.

Violent clashes broke out in Hazma town after being stormed by Israeli forces amid heavy firing of teargas bombs and live bullets.

Similar clashes were reported in Mughir town after an Israeli settler was injured in a stone-throwing attack.

Meanwhile a Palestinian protester was injured and dozens others suffocated from teargas inhalation as Israeli army cracked down on the weekly protest against Israeli settlements in the village of Kafr Qaddoum in the occupied West Bank.

Morad Shtewi coordinator of the popular resistance in the village affirmed that Israeli soldiers attacked the protesters with rubber-coated steel rounds and teargas injuring at least one protester and causing many cases of suffocation.

In Jenin Israeli forces targeted a number of local houses in Tur town with teargas bombs leading to a state of panic among women and children.

In occupied Jerusalem two Palestinians aged 19 and 15 were detained while leaving al-Aqsa Mosque.
