A group of Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian families in Susya village in southern al-Khalil under the protection of Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during an EU delegation visit to the village local sources reported.
Several civilians were injured including the coordinator of apartheid wall and settlement resistance commission Ratib Jabbour who was injured in his head and chest.
The EU delegation’s visit took place to look at the challenges and difficulties facing the Susya Masafer Yatta and Tuani villages.
The IOF detained members of the delegation and declared Susya a closed military zone.
In a similar incident another group of Jewish settlers raided Birin village to the east of Yatta under the protection of IOF soldiers on Thursday evening.
The settlers voiced threats against the Palestinian citizens and insulted them.
