Israeli navy opened fire toward Palestinians who took part in a peaceful demonstration near the maritime border with Israel in the northern Gaza Strip injuring 19 people.
Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed that 19 persons suffered different injuries during the armed attack.
Thousands have participated in the 12th naval march which was launched Monday afternoon from Gaza port to the nearest sea point in northern Gaza Strip.
25 fishing boats also joined the naval march.
The naval march has been launched over the past two months by the national movement to break the siege on the Gaza Strip as part of the Return March protests which began on March 30 and aimed at affirming the Palestinian right of return and calling for lifting Gaza siege.
