The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) suppressed the anti-occupation weekly rallies in Beita and Beit Dajan towns south and east of the West Bank city of Nablus on Friday afternoon.
At least seven Palestinians suffered rubber bullets injuries in Beit Dajan town.
Meanwhile IOF soldiers violently dispersed the participants of the anti-settlement march in Beita.
Beita and Beit Dajan towns have become a scene for weekly protests against the Israeli occupation authorities’ bid to construct new colonial settlements and expand existing ones at the expense of Palestinian territory.
The number of settlers living in Jewish-only colonial settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law has jumped to over 700000 and settlement expansion has tripled since the signing of Oslo Accords in 1993.
