A number of Palestinians were injured on Thursday as clashes broke out in Sabsatia town to the north of Nablus.
The town’s mayor Mohamed Azem said that the confrontations erupted when Israeli Occupation Forces stormed the area amid heavy fire of live ammunition and teargas bombs.
The Israeli forces were accompanied with crews of Civil Administration and Nature and Parks Authority he added.
Several local residents suffered teargas inhalation during the raid.
