A number of Palestinians chocked on teargas on Friday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently quelled a peaceful demonstration in Kafr Qaddum village east of Qalqilya.
A mass demonstration was organized in Kafr Qaddum in protest at the US embassy transfer to Occupied Jerusalem and in support of the Palestinians protesting in the Gaza Strip.
Popular resistance coordinator in Kafr Qaddum Murad Shtewi said that violent clashes broke out between the demonstrators and the IOF soldiers who heavily fired rubber-coated metal bullets and teargas canisters causing a number of suffocation cases.
