Injuries reported in anti-occupation rallies

Friday 5-November-2021

Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday in Israeli army violent quelling of anti-settlement marches and in Jewish settlers’ attacks across the occupied West Bank.

In Nablus dozens of Palestinians and peace activists suffered from teargas inhalation fired by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during clashes in Beita town.

Local sources affirmed that two Israeli peace activists were arrested by the IOF during the clashes.

In Qalqilia a group of Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in Kafr Qaddoum village.

The settlers were trying to steal olive harvest before being confronted by local farmers.

The farmers were supported by peace activists and local protesters who were marching against Israeli settlement construction in the area.

Every Friday Palestinians hold anti-occupation rallies in a number of West Bank villages and towns in protest against Israeli settlement construction.
