The Palestinian ministry of interior and national security said on Thursday that its apparatuses in Gaza had not only arrested the man who assassinated last March commander Mazen al-Fuqaha but also had information about his Israeli accomplices.
In press remarks on Thursday spokesman for the ministry Iyad al-Bazem stated that “the security apparatuses in Gaza had worked strongly for 47 days to track and unravel the threads of the crime.”
The spokesman stressed that the ministry of interior and national security in Gaza would remain the protective shield for its people and resistance describing the Gaza security apparatuses as “responsible and trustworthy.”
Mazen al-Fuqaha a senior Hamas military leader was shot dead at point-blank range in his car near his home in Gaza City on 24 March.
