The Islamic Bloc the student wing of Hamas has strongly denounced Israel’s detention of Alaa Marshoud a female media student at an-Najjah University.
In a statement the Islamic Bloc said that Israel’s persecution and detention of university students reflects its persistence in repressing university freedoms and violating international humanitarian laws.
The Islamic Bloc called upon the administration of an-Najjah University legal and human rights groups and the Palestinian competent authorities to intervene to protect university students against Israel’s violations.
The Shin Bet Israel’s internal intelligence kidnapped 21-year-old Alaa Marshoud after summoning her for interrogation on Monday.
